Directions

Forage is the most important component of a horse’s diet and should be fed at a rate of 1.5-2.5% of a horse’s body weight. Introduce Standlee Forage Plus Gastric Support gradually into your horse’s diet over seven to fourteen (7-14) days, supplementing the forage and/or pasture with Gastric Support fed at a rate of 0.5 to 1% lb of body weight per day. (i.e., 6-12lbs /1200lb horse/day) NEVER FEED MOLDY OR INSECT INFESTED FORAGE. ALWAYS PROVIDE FREE-ACCESS TO FRESH, CLEAN WATER.
To reduce the risk of rapid consumption that can lead to digestive upset and choke, pellets are recommended to be soaked (2 parts water to 1 part pellet) for a minimum of 30 minutes or until the forage is softened to a soup-like consistency. Weigh the amount of forage provided to each horse before soaking.
